HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

'Hard work is its own reward.' A sentiment that did't quite leave an impression in the heart of most rockets. Dante wasn't 'most rockets' and so he finds himself on the ashen fields of route 114 a hoe in hands attempting to till the ash covered lands. How exactly the Fallarbor populace managed to farm is beyond him, but he isn't paid to ask questions. He's paid to work and deal with anything that comes in the way of that work. It's why both Shen and Duo scouted the outskirts while Dante himself worked so solemnly.

It's still early 5am and the only thing he can hear is the sound of metal old and rusted slamming against solid earth.

It looks confused from afar wandering around the start of what looked to be a small farm. Though intimidation from duo prevents the small golem from getting too close. Instead it trains from afar smashing rocks and trees. Five thumps and Dante realizes the pokemon is training, and in that next six thumps the man finds respect before the ho strikes the fields once more.

It's seven o' clock and there's still much work to do.

The houndoom is removed forcefully Archeops sees to the removal. A torrent of rocks see to the erasure of the incoming attacker before the fields are harmed. Dante barely looks up the whimpering of the fleeing animal is more than enough to confirm his safety. And so he continues to plow the sound of metal against earth is familiar now, the sun is high in the sky.

It's exactly Twelve O' Clock and he's over halfway done.

The sun has set, but still he swings. smoke billows higher with each swing the sole light from his cigarette managing to guide the man's swings just barely.

A final swing and the job is done and almost on cue more lights appear rings not blinding but glowing the rest of its body cloaked in darkness. It strolls up without fear careful not to make tracks in the darkness. What attracted the dark pokemon he doesn't know but Dante feels a kinship with the Umbreon and he likes to think the stranger feels the same. When the two travel back to town a decision is made it's simultaneous and partners are born.

It's 10 O' Clock the moon is high and hard work is indeed its own reward.
